As icy winds blow through the streets and we find ourselves wanting to bury our faces in scarves, nanamica stores are launching the 2025 SS collection, signaling the start of a new season. Centered around the theme of “Heart-warming Life-Tech Wear,” this collection offers a wide range of items that blend natural materials with tech fabrics. While maintaining functionality, we also introduce pieces that address environmental issues, featuring fluorine-free treatments and recycled materials.

First up is nanamica’s signature two-layer cotton GORE-TEX coat. Starting this season, it features GORE-TEX fabrics made with an environmentally conscious, fluorine-free ePE membrane. It remains highly waterproof and breathable while being kinder to the planet. In addition, a new double-breasted coat made from the same fabric has joined the lineup. Its silhouette, similar to a long P-coat, is designed to comfortably envelop the body.

The standout feature of this season is the color palette inspired by seascapes, showcasing items in hues like deep navy, blue, and sax that reflect the ocean’s ever-changing tones. Complementing these cool shades are a coach jacket and hooded jacket that feature refreshing recycled nylon taffeta on the outer shell and a dry-touch, quick-drying recycled polyester jersey for the lining. Both pieces also have a fluorine-free water-repellent finish, making them perfect for rainy days or waterside activities.
Not only do they serve as breezy lightweight outerwear, but both pieces are also reversible. Turn them inside out, and they transform into a white jacket with a graphic detail on the chest.
Zip Cardigan
This 5-gauge zip-up cardigan features a variant rib stitch design and is offered in three colors—an ocean-like blue and navy, and an ivory reminiscent of sunlit sand. Because it’s knit from recycled polyester lily yarn, it has a naturally airy volume and a lightweight feel, as if it’s caught a gentle breeze. With its relaxed fit, it pairs nicely over sweaters or hoodies during this time of year.

Also making their debut are items that combine ALPHADRY®, a nanamica staple known for its excellent moisture-wicking and stretch properties, with KODENSHI® . By adding KODENSHI® to ALPHADRY®, these pieces gain the ability to maintain a natural body temperature. Even during this still-chilly time of year, they keep the temperature inside the garment comfortably regulated.
Introducing first is a utility jacket with multiple functional pockets. The collar and pockets feature contrasting recycled nylon taffeta, serving as a design accent. You can also choose from three types of pants—wide-straight, cargo, and cropped—that can be worn together as a set with the jacket. Not only do they differ in silhouette, but the pocket designs vary as well, so be sure to give them a try.

From the denim series, in addition to the usual staples, a new selvedge denim with a vintage-inspired look has been added. It’s woven slowly on old-school shuttle looms, giving it a textured surface that molds to your legs over time, letting you enjoy even more pronounced fading the longer you wear it.
