The reason I like lightweight coats is that it is easy to wear, but also with this volume, you can wear an inner puffer inside.

What is majotae?
Material made by <majotae> using modern technology to reproduce “Taimafu,” a natural hemp cloth woven of yarn spun from fibers extracted from hemp, a traditional Japanese plant. The traditional cloth was woven by hand because of the short fibers, but machine spinning using latest technology was made possible. Hand kneading finish gives the fabric a hand-made texture. It dries much faster than cotton and is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We love such natural functionality and the skin-feel of organic material, and it is now the third season for us to create this original fabric. The fabric is woven in two layers, with a surface of acrylic wool and cotton hemp and polyester back. It gives the fabric a distinct stiffness that creates a three-dimensional silhouette. Contrary to how sturdy it looks, it is amazingly light weight.
